I'm tired. Early pregnancy does that to you. So after some serious lego playtime, drum playing and book reading this morning, I laid down on my side to watch Alex continue playing as I took a much needed break. True to his ever-loving form (and just to keep me on my toes since he was a total pill yesterday), Alex watched me curiously for a moment, then came over, reclined next to me, and laid his head softly on my arm. He laid there quietly for at least five minutes before peeking up at me, then laying back down again.
Okay mom, if you need to rest, we'll rest.

Awww that is sweet. Little Princess just tries to be quiet when she knows that I am trying to take a much needed preggo rest.
Your boy is such a sweetie. He sure loves his mama!
