Hyperemesis gravidarum.
AKA hyperactive vomit and hydration issues.
Yours truly now has "a condition". This was added to my wonderful medical record after I spent an evening in the hospital getting IV fluids for dehydration due to excessive vomiting. Apparently, when your body is determined enough to start occasionally ignoring the anti-nausea medicine that you take, you get rewarded with a condition. So everyone keep your fingers crossed for me that I stay on the "mild" end of this thing, and don't end up on the severe end.
On a good note, though I am pretty much miserable, the baby seems absolutely fine. He also may very well become a soccer player when he gets older!

I am so sorry you aren't feeling well. And not feeling well when you're pregnant is even more of a challenge. "Not feeling well" is probably an understatement. Hyperactive vomit and hydration issues sounds just...oh, I just feel for you! I hope it gets better. Good news that your little guy is doing well in there.
AWE! I am so sorry. I hope you feel better soon or that they can give you something to ease your stomach issues!
I'm so sorry to hear you are still having problems. As I said previously, I too needed medication for vomiting but I was never hospitalized for dehydration. I probably was though. Hang in there, it will get better.
Oh and you are on my blogroll (because I love your blog), if you want to link to me, that would be cool. Thanks.
Oh you poor thing! I lived the 'zofran lifestyle' too (complete with intermittent IV hydration therapy) with both my pregnancies and you have my complete and utter sympathy! Hang in there!
(Found you at blogcatalog ~micpro)
Oh no! I am so sorry you have to go through that! No fun AT ALL. I am glad your little guy is doing great, though!!
Hang in there... thinking of you!

I remember when I was pregnant with Princess, I vomitted all the time, constantly for five months. Eventually the doctor put me on diclectin which helped. ((Hugs))
Sorry to hear you are sick, I know what you are going through...I am a HG Survivor. A great website that helped me: helpher.org. It has lots of information that can help you manage the disease.
Hi Sorry to hear you are going through this! I know exactly how you feel I was diagnosed last August. I had a healthy baby boy this past April, but it was a long hard road. Helpher.org has alot of good info on Hyperemesis. Hope it helps.
