Stephen is Here!!!

Okay wow, I am so very far behind in catching up with everyone! I am happy to report that Stephen Patrick was born healthy at 37 weeks on 1/3/08 at 1:38pm via c-section. He came out screaming and yelling and weighing in at 7lbs 3oz. And I'm also happy to report that about 24 hours after the delivery my hyperemesis disappeared pretty much completely. Even though I'm obviously exhausted from the middle of the night feedings and all of a sudden keeping up with two rather than just one during the day, I actually feel somewhat human again!! Hallelujah!! I have to give big kudos to the forums at the HER Foundation (Hyperemesis Education and Research). The ladies there have all gone through HG, or are going through it at this time, and there were many days where they were literally the only ones to keep me from a total meltdown. I'll be adding a link to their website here shortly, and anyone looking for more information on Hyperemesis should definately check them out.

I also wanted to send a great big thank you to all my loyal blog visitors who sent their best wishes and concerns throughout this pregnancy. It was certainly a rough one, but now so very, very worth it. I look forward to catching back up with you all!!
