Ding Dong the Pump is GONE

Welcome to this weeks version of the Sunday Six! Big news this week!


1. The pump is gone!! That's right, weaned off it just a few days ago and so far so good! I'm not nauseous and feel fine, if a little tired (but I think the tiredness comes more from chasing Alex around all day than anything else!).

2. Alex went "pee in the potty" this week. We're still enjoying visits to the potty a couple of times of day, but aren't really PUSHING until we get a little bit better idea of what using the potty really means. Still, as a first, it was pretty neat. We cheered, we danced, we did a special snack, it was a celebration all around.

3. We're now in a "big boy bed"! Alex has a blue racecar bed and last night he spent his first night in it. Before laying him down I asked him if he wanted to sleep in his crib or in his new racecar bed and he picked the racecar (what man wouldn't?).He slept wonderfully all night long and didn't even climb out this morning when he woke up. This afternoon we also napped in our racecar bed with no problems whatsoever. I just hope it continues to be this easy of a conversion!

4. Our Pa-Pa Stacy had a birthday this past week, so happy birthday to him! We're so glad we got to share some of it with you Pa-Pa!!

5. On a more sober note, just moments ago we were watching the Dolphins football game and Trent Green was carried out on a stretcher after taking a very nasty shot to the head. Please pray for him that he is well and healthy and recovered soon. A hit like that is always scary.

6. Alex attended a playdate picnic with our mom's group this past Saturday. His Grams and I went along, and he was dressed (for early Halloween) as a tough guy greaser. I can't wait to get the pictures out for everyone to see.


Told you it's been a busy week!! Can't believe my little blue eyed angel is growing into such a big boy so fast!! How is everyone else doing? And what are your little 2 foot angels (and devils!) up to?
